The Dales Way

From 28 April 2018 to 3 May, a group from Hampton Hikers successfully took on The Dales Way, a long distance footpath of about 80 miles (128 km) running from Ilkley to Bowness-on-Windermere.

A Walk from Birmingham to Worcester along the canal towpath.

Diglis Basin, Worcester

The walk commenced at Gas St. Basin in Birmingham and followed the Worcester-Birmingham Canal to Diglis Basin in Worcester. The walk was 31 miles along the canal and the return was by taxi to Hampton Gym. The walk was led by Bob Reid.

The Ridgeway

From 30 April 2017 to 5 May, a group from Hampton Hikers successfully took on The Ridgeway, a route used since prehistoric times by travellers, herdsmen and soldiers. The 87 mile long Ridgeway passes through ancient landscapes through downland, secluded valleys and woodland. These are some of the photos they took along the way.

The Cotswold Way
